(...) and let us arise, and go up to Beth-el; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

Interpretation of Martin Luther ...

Günter Weispfenning (1941-2011)

The Internationale Martin Luther Stiftung was founded in 2007 as a result of the vision and farsightedness of the protestant business man Günter Weispfenning. Our founder created the basis that enables this foundation to make a contribution to developing the basic ideas of the Reformation into a lively discussion between church, business, academia and politics.

We will continue to cultivate this heritage.

With the Share Value Stiftung, a non-profit foundation that Günter Weispfenning managed until he died, he placed a substantial part of his share portfolio at the service of the public good. “Helping with shares” is also the aim of the Internationale Martin Luther Stiftung.

Following the wishes of Günter Weispfenning, the founder of the Internationale Martin Luther Stiftung, most of the assets of the foundation are held as shares, in accord with the principles of entrepreneurial courage.
