The LutherConference and the award ceremony of the LutherRose 2021 took place on Saturday, 30 April 2022 in Ditzingen near Stuttgart at the headquarters of TRUMPF SE + Co. This event was the replacement for the conference planned for November 2021. This had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Wolfgang Huber received the LutherRose 2021 at the 14th LutherConference for his life's work as an outstanding theologian and churchman. Dr. Ellen Ueberschär honoured the awardee with her laudatory speech. Former German Federal President Joachim Gauck gave the keynote speech at the Luther Conference entitled "No liberal democracy without a social market economy".

The theme of the LutherConference 2021 was "Social Market Economy in Economic War". It was the focus of the panel discussion that opened the LutherConference 2021.
