As in the last three years, this year's Luther Conference took place on the Reformer's birthday, 10 November. Under the motto "In the freedom of a Christian - exemplifying entrepreneurial courage", prominent figures from business, politics and the church debated the topic "The freedom of a Christian and the freedom of business - how are they compatible?".

At the subsequent ceremony, the "LutherRose for social responsibility and entrepreneurial courage" was awarded to Dr. Dirk Ippen.
